Most people don’t really know how to make a good espresso, cappuccino, or hot chocolate. With all the different single serving coffee makers and coffee options that come with it, you don’t have to be a master at any of them to have a perfect cup every single time.
I remember the first time saw one of these individual coffee makers. The first thought that came to my mind was, ” that is so lazy!”. I am a huge coffee drinker, and couldn’t imagine brewing one single cup at time. I probably drink between two and three pots of coffee a day. Yes, I said pots! I don’t think this makes me an expert, but it does mean that I am willing to put in some effort to have a really good cup of coffee.
I used to live in a townhouse that was right next to the maintenance office. Since it was so convenient to go to the maintenance office, I would frequent the place for just about any little thing. One morning I was getting some light bulbs and I notices one of these individual coffee makers in the corner. I was pretty curious, so I asked them if I could get myself a cup. It was a big mistake! I was hooked.
This was easily one of the best cups of coffee that I had ever tasted. The beautiful part was it was so fast. They had a pretty large assortment of different coffee flavors. I would grab one and 30 seconds later have a perfectly blended cup of coffee and it just could get any fresher than having it brewed right into the cup! Needless to say, my maintenance needs went up quite a bit so that I could have an excuse to visit the office and get a great free cup of coffee. I think they actually got a chuckle out of my excitement over their coffee machine.
As all good things must end, I did end up moving to a different house. Well, my wife knew how much I loved that coffee machine, and secretly she really liked it too. The following Christmas I had one given to me, it has been a very popular item in the house ever since. I strongly recommend adding this machine to your kitchen. It has not been underused by any stretch of the imagination.
I can only imagine what people from 50 years ago would think of these individual coffee makers. It just didn’t exist and I am pretty sure there weren’t as many different flavors of coffee grounds to choose from. One of my favorites today is the Butter Toffee flavor. Just amazing.
So you may be wondering, “Why is this guy making such a big deal about these coffee machines?”. I guess, the way I see it is this. If you really love something, why not let other people know about it so they can check it out too. Through my experimentation of these different coffee flavors you should be able to determine if this is something that you would like to have for yourself.
I must warn you. It can be very addictive! Even if I know I am going to sit down and have an entire pot of coffee, it is still very difficult for me to not have a freshly brewed cup every single time.
